This is a photograph of the iconic signage above the Art and Soul shop in Humber Street, Hull. The full sign reads The Humber Fruit Brokers Ltd. I love its worn patina and crumbly paint – and chose to focus on just the word “Humber”. Anyone that ever knew this area will have a real affinity with the river, the bridge and the docks, and this worn yet beautiful signage is a great piece of local heritage. As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to frame it like this!

This print is rollered onto a self adhesive backing board and then presented in an art-quality mount. It’s then popped into a black Dunelm frame that measures 53 x 23cm.
