This print is a reproduction of a digital painting I made.Ancient Greek arts and aesthetic was all around me while I was growing up on a small seaside town on the Turkish Aegean coast that wassurrounded by ancient ruins. In this painting I wanted to build a connection between contemporary oil wrestling that is still very much popular in Turkey and its historic roots, emphasizing the raw beauty of this ancient sport.
