Handcrafted from dark clay and glazed with agemlike blue-green celadon,this stunning vessel was created by up-and-coming ceramicist, Xu Chun Tian (son of nationally acclaimed Taiwaneseceramicsmaster,Xu De Jia).

Theglaze isa modern interpretation of China’s classic Longquan celadons.Like glistening jadein luster and appearance, this bowl offers a stately low profile for ergonomics and aesthetic appeal. Details include a subtle indentation near the base and the artist’s stampon the underside of the bowl. A complex web of craquelureruns through the glaze in a unique pattern; barely visible when new, these lines willdarkenwith use to create a beautiful patina.
