Part of our Song Kiln Collection, thispair of cups is inspired by the celadon wareof the Song Dynasty’s ImperialRu Kiln.

These elegantcups were crafted in northern Taiwan by nationally acclaimed master ceramicist Xu De Jia. Sold as a pair, the cupsfeatureMr. Xu’ssignature blue-green glaze on a darkclay body.

As with all of our celadon pieces in the Song Kiln Collection, these OvalCups are covered with a web of craquelure: hairline cracks in the glaze that will darken with use. This natural patina is an especially prized characteristic of fine celadon, and adds to the pot’s aesthetic appeal as every pot is different.
