Kingingyarra means oyster but also the wild hop bush, as they share the same dreaming. When the oysters are ready to harvest the hop bush also blooms.
This artwork depicts the oysters found on rocks in the local rivers and inlets. The dance of light reflections and shadows of the mud and water of a low tide and oysters out of their shells once opened.
