Bone china mug featuring my watercolour paintings of apair of kingfishers amongst the marginal plants and bright blue damselflies inspired by walks along Beverley beck and the river Hull.

Myoriginal artworkis scanned in and sent to aceramic transfer printers in Stoke on Trentwhich I then cut and apply by hand to create the finished design.

Every mug is hand decorated by me in this way to allow for the intricate design and detail inside the mug. This is what makes littlebirdy designs products unique and means every item has been closely handled with diligent care and attention. I mostly replicate the design shown in the photographs but some elements of the design may vary, please send me a message if you have any specific requests.

After decorating,kingfishermug is fired in my own small electric kiln to 800C making it dishwasher safe.
